A film company nestled in the west side of Los Angeles, 2005 marked the company’s first year in production. With the release of two short films, Routine and Offstacle Course, as a part of its “Quit” Film Series the company found acclaim with both of these titles. Routine was an official selection for both the 2005 LA International Short Film Fest and the 2006 X-Dance Action Sports Film Fest, and Offstacle Course was nominated for the Best Short Film at the 2006 X-Dance Festival.
The company plans to continue with its short film series, develop a couple of action sport based television shows, and work on two narrative film projects. Barcode Films breaks free from stale conventions to bring quality productions that project a true voice for youth inspired culture.
